PCV System: Maintenance: GTV-6

Blow-by gases and oil vapors, developed during engine operation, are drawn from the crankcase up through the camshaft cover and into the oil separator. Crankcase vapors then flow to the combustion chambers, where they are mixed with the incoming air/fuel charge and burned during the combustion cycle.

Check all crankcase ventilation hoses for damage, and replace as required. Check crankcase ventilation system for proper operation.
