Activating System

  1. Remove Red short connector from driver-side air bag connector. On Coupe models, remove SRS short connector "A" from cable reel 3-pin connector. On all models, reconnect driver-side air bag connector to cable reel connector.
  2. Attach short connector to lid. Reinstall lid on steering wheel. Reconnect battery. Check SRS indicator light to ensure system is functioning properly. SRS light should come on for about 6 seconds and then go off.
