Malfunction Indicator Light (Mil): Notes

All models have a Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL). As a bulb check, the light will come on whenever ignition is on and engine is not running. The MIL will also come on whenever a system failure is detected; a corresponding trouble code will set in Engine Control Module (ECM) memory.
