Coolant Temperature Sensor

  1. Disconnect wire from coolant temperature sensor. Ensure coolant temperature sensor resistance is 60-1000 ohms. If not, replace sensor. If okay, disconnect ECU harness connector.
  2. Check for continuity in wire between ECU terminal No. 10 and coolant temperature sensor. See Figure . If no continuity, check for an open circuit in wire.
