Removal & Installation: ECM: Installation

CAUTION: DO NOT connect Motronic ECM with ignition switch in ON position.

1. Ensure that ignition is switched OFF. Connect Motronic ECM harness connector to Motronic ECM. Install Motronic ECM tightly in electronics box. Connect vacuum line to Motronic ECM.
2. Carefully push lower cover into both openings of electronics box and lock in. See Fig 1. Carefully put upper cover into both openings of electronics box. Screw both covers of electronics box to each other. See Fig 2.
3. Cover electronics box with carpeting. Reinstall A pillar cover. See Figure.
