Installation Procedure

CAUTION: Refer to BATTERY DISCONNECT CAUTION in Cautions and Notices.

Important:  Clean any existing corrosion from the battery terminal bolt flange and the battery cable end.

  1. Install the battery cable to the battery.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Tighten the negative cable bolt.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolt to 17 N.m (13 lb ft).
