EGR System Check
- With engine coolant temperature below 113°F (45°C), run engine and touch EGR diaphragm with finger to check that EGR valve diaphragm is not operating.
- Warm engine to normal operating temperature. Check that EGR valve diaphragm moves in correct direction during acceleration and deceleration. See Fig 2 .
