Test Description

The numbers below refer to the step numbers on the diagnostic table.

   Listen for an audible click when the A/T shift lock solenoid operates. Command both the ON and OFF states. Repeat the commands as necessary.
2. 3
   
   Tests for an internal short of the A/T shift lock solenoid. Command both ON and OFF states. Repeat the commands as necessary.
3. 4
   
   Tests if voltage is constantly being applied to the A/T shift lock solenoid control circuit.
4. 8
   
   The BCM must be programmed for the vehicle RPO configuration.
