Installation Procedure

  1. Install the air cleaner lower assembly (2) to the vehicle.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Secure the air cleaner lower assembly with the 3 bolts (1).

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  3. Install the air cleaner cover.

  4. Secure the air cleaner cover with the retaining clips (2).
  5. Connect the EVAP system vent hose to the air cleaner cover.
  6. Connect the air inlet duct (1) to the air cleaner assembly.
