Removal Procedure

    CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Fig 2: Fuel Rail Cover

  3. Remove the fuel rail cover.
  4. Fig 3: Installing/Removing Ignition Coils & Bracket Assembly With Bolts

  5. Disconnect the ignition coil harness connector.
  6. Disconnect the spark plug wire at the ignition coil.
  7. Remove the ignition coil mounting bolts.
  8. Remove the ignition coil.
