Cold Mixture Heater

Cold mixture heater is a Positive Temperature Coefficient (PTC) heater installed on intake manifold. When engine coolant temperature is below 158°F (70°C), ECU energizes cold mixture heater relay to operate PTC heater. Fuel is heated and atomized before entering combustion chamber.
