Fuel Pressure: Notes
Basic diagnosis of fuel system should begin with determining fuel system pressure.
WARNING:
ALWAYS relieve fuel pressure before disconnecting any fuel injection-related component. DO NOT allow fuel to contact engine or electrical components.
NOTE:
Relieve fuel pressure at fuel rail test port (if equipped). See RELIEVING FUEL PRESSURE (VEHICLES WITH FUEL RAIL TEST PORTS). If vehicle is not equipped with a fuel rail test port, see appropriate fuel pressure release procedure.
