Crankshaft Position/Engine Speed Sensor Test

  1. Disconnect crankshaft position/engine speed sensor connector. Sensor is attached to torque converter drive plate housing. Connect an ohmmeter between terminals "A" and "B" (marked on connector).
  2. With engine at operating temperature, ohmmeter should read 125-275 ohms. If reading is not within specification, replace sensor.
