Fuel Injector Resistance Check

  1. Disconnect fuel injector connector. Using an ohmmeter, measure resistance between fuel injector terminals.
  2. On 1.8L and 2.0L (non-turbo), resistance should be 13-16 ohms at 68°F (20°C).
  3. On 2.0L (turbo), resistance should be 2-3 ohms at 68°F (20°C).
  4. If resistance is not to specification, replace fuel injector.
