Crankcase Ventilation Systems: Description

The Fiat crankcase ventilation system prevents blow-by gases from collecting in crankcase or escaping to atmosphere. The system includes an oil separator, flame trap, oil drain, ventilation hose and a by-pass hose (Strada and X1/9 only).
