OVERBOOST Warning Chime Check

  1. Start the engine and run at 2000 RPM. Remove the air filter upper housing. Push measuring plate of vane airflow meter to fully open position.
  2. Ensure warning buzzer sounds and engine speed drops or engine stalls. If not, see appropriate article in COMPUTERIZED ENGINE CONTROL section. Turn off engine and replace air filter upper housing.
