Valve Clearance
NOTE:
All models except 2.0L (VIN 3), 3.0L (VIN S) and 3.9L (VIN A) are equipped with hydraulic valve lifters. See VALVE CLEARANCE SPECIFICATION table. Valve adjustment is not required if equipped with hydraulic lifters. If valves are noisy or incorrect clearance is suspected, worn components are indicated. Check collapsed valve lifter clearance. See appropriate article in ENGINES.
