Installation Procedure

  1. Install the module to the liftgate.
    2. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  2. Install the bolts that retain the module to the liftgate and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
  3. Connect the electrical connectors (3) as necessary.
  4. Install the liftgate trim panel. Refer to Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement .
  5. Program the liftgate control module. Refer to Control Module References .
