Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Switch "OFF" the ignition and disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the engine cover.

    (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "ENGINE COVER ")

  3. Disconnect the intake hose (A).

  4. Disconnect the ETC module connector (A).
  5. Disconnect the coolant hose (B).
  6. Remove the ETC module from the engine after loosening the installation bolt (C).

    Electronic throttle body mounting bolt: 

    9.8 - 11.8 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.7 lb-ft)
