Repair Procedures: Removal
- Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
- Remove the engine room side cover.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION Engine and Transaxle Assembly")
- Remove the front bumper upper cover.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "FRONT BUMPER AND RADIATOR GRILLE ")
- Disconnect the ECM connector (A).
- After removing the installation bolts and nuts, remove the ECM bracket assembly (A).
Tightening torque:
8.8 ~ 11.8 N.m (0.9 ~ 1.2 kgf.m, 6.5 ~ 8.7 lb-ft)
- After removing the installation bolts (A), remove the ECM from the bracket.
Tightening torque:
8.8 ~ 11.8 N.m (0.9 ~ 1.2 kgf.m, 6.5 ~ 8.7 lb-ft)
