Code 14, Ignition Signal Circuit No Signal: Notes

The ECM receives a 12-volt signal from the ignitor on ECM terminal "IGF". If this signal is not present 4 times during cranking, Code 14 will set. The ECM uses this signal to pulse the fuel injector.

NOTE: Test numbers refer to test numbers on diagnostic chart.
  1. This verifies voltage supply to ignition coil.
  2. This verifies condition of "IGT" circuit.
  3. This verifies condition of "IGF" circuit.
