Removal & Installation: Starter: Installation

Install in the reverse order of removal. Ensure the crimped side of the ring terminal is facing out. See Figure.
Connect the battery positive cable and negative cable to the battery.
Start the engine to ensure the starter works properly.
Enter the anti-theft codes for the radio and the navigation system, enter the customer's radio station presets.
Perform the ECM/PCM idle learn procedure, and the power window control unit reset procedure. See appropriate COMPUTER RELEARN article in GENERAL INFORMATION.
