Charge Indicator Inoperative

  1. Did you perform the Diagnostic System Check for Starting and Charging? If yes, go to next step. If no, go to Diagnostic System Check in GENERATORS & REGULATORS .
  2. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF. Does the battery charge indicator illuminate during the bulb check? If yes, problem is intermittent. If no, go to next step.
  3. Replace the charge indicator bulb. Did you complete the replacement? If yes, go to next step.
  4. Operate the system in order to verify the repair. Did you correct the condition? If yes, system is okay. If no, go to step  2.
