Ignition Checks: Notes

All model are equipped with a distributorless Ignition System (DIS). DIS is a molded, dual-coil system. The system does not use a distributor. Ignition timing is controlled by the electronic control ignition timing system. The ignition timing curves for the engine operating conditions are programmed into the memory of the ECM.
