Repair Procedures: Installation

  1. Installation is reverse of removal.
    1. In the case of the vehicle equipped with immobilizer or button engine start system, perform "Key Teaching" procedure together. (Refer to SMART KEY UNIT (BUTTON) DIAGNOSIS .)
    2. After exchanging TCM, input the EOL (End of line).

      (Refer to EOL INPUT .)

    3. When replacing the TCM, reset the automatic transmissions values by using the GDS.
    4. Perform TCM learning after replacing the TCM.
