Air Temperature Sensor (XJS)
Disconnect negative battery cable. Disconnect air temperature sensor connector. Sensor is located in left air filter assembly. Using an ohmmeter, check resistance across sensor terminals. At given temperature, resistance should be as specified. Refer to the AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR RESISTANCE (XJS) table. Replace sensor if resistance is not as specified.
