Caster Adjustment: Inspection

  1. Position the vehicle so that the front wheel is on the turning-radius gauge. Remove wheel cover. Attach the standard caster gauge to the hub and measure the caster. See Figure .
  2. Compare measurements with manufacturer's specifications. See WHEEL ALIGNMENT SPECIFICATIONS  table. If measurements are within specification, no adjustment is necessary. If measurements are not within specification, see ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURE  .
