Removal & Installation: Starter: Removal

1. Disconnect negative battery terminal.
2. Remove two upper intake manifold support bracket bolts.
3. Disconnect "S" terminal connector.
4. Disconnect "B" terminal connector.
5. Remove two upper starter bolts. See Figure .
6. Raise vehicle and support with safety stands.
7. Remove the exhaust pipe. See Fig 1 .
8. Remove lower intake manifold support bracket bolt.
9. Remove intake manifold support bracket.
10. Remove lower starter bolt. See Fig 2 .
11. Remove starter.
