Repair Procedures: Removal

Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.
Disconnect the crankshaft position sensor connector (A).

Lift the vehicle.
Remove the protector (A) after loosening the mounting bolts.
Crankshaft position sensor protector mounting bolt (M6) :

9.8 ~ 11.8 N.m (1.0 ~ 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 ~ 8.7 lb-ft)

Remove the crankshaft position sensor (A) after loosening the mounting bolt,
Crankshaft position sensor mounting bolt :

9.8 ~ 11.8 N.m (1.0 ~ 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 ~ 8.7 lb-ft)
