Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Turn The Ignition Switch Off And Disconnect The Battery Negative (-) Terminal.
  2. Disconnect The Variable Intake Solenoid Valve Connector (A) And Vaccum Hose (B).

  3. Remove The Vis Valve Mounting Bolts (A).

    Variable Intake Solenoid Valve Bracket Mounting Bolt: 

    9.8 - 11.8 N.M (1.0 - 1.2 Kgf.M, 7.2 - 8.7 Lb.Ft)

  4. Remove The Vis Valve (A) After Loosening The Rod (B).
