Repair Procedures: Removal: Notes

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
  2. Disconnect the variable force solenoid (VFS) connector (A).
  3. Remove the VFS from the engine after loosening the mounting bolts (B).

    Tightening torque: 

    9.8 -11.8 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.7 lb.ft)
