(1) Remove cap, filter and separator from end of dashpot. To fully extend dashpot rod, use finger to cover hole inside area where separator is normally installed in dashpot. Ensure cooling fan is not running while checking specification.
(2) Fully extend dashpot rod with a screwdriver while checking specification.
