Cooling Fan System

NOTE: Use the following procedure to check operation of cooling fan system. For all other cooling fan testing, see the ENGINE COOLING FAN article in ENGINE COOLING in section.

Cooling fan is driven by a hydraulic motor that receives pressure from the power steering pump. See ENGINE COOLING FAN article in ENGINE COOLING section.
