Rheostat Light Control Circuit

  1. Check Rheostat Light Control Volume

    Check rheostat light control volume. See INSTRUMENT PANELS article. If rheostat light control volume is okay, go to next step. Replace rheostat light control volume as necessary and retest system operation.

  2. Check Circuits

    Check circuits for faults between rheostat light control volume and body control ECU. See WIRING DIAGRAMS. Repair or replace as necessary. If circuits are okay, go to next test listed in appropriate TROUBLE SHOOTING SYMPTOMS table.
