Removal & Installation: Starter

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
  2. Remove starter wiring nut and disconnect starter wiring.
  3. Disconnect starter connector.
  4. Remove starter bolts and remove starter.
  5. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten starter bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . When installing upper mounting bolt, ensure it is installed with clamp bracket. See Fig 1.
