SFI System: Precaution

NOTE:
  • Some systems need to be initialized after reconnecting the negative (-) battery terminal (See INITIALIZATION ).
  • Perform the RESET MEMORY (AT) initialization operation after replacing the automatic transmission assembly, engine assembly or ECM (See INITIALIZATION ).
  • Perform REGISTRATION (VIN registration) when replacing the ECM (See REGISTRATION  ).
