Throttle Positioner Servo Diaphragm

  1. Connect tachometer to engine. Bring engine to normal operating temperature. Stop engine. Detach 3-way solenoid-to-servo diaphragm vacuum hose from servo diaphragm.
  2. Connect intake manifold vacuum hose or hand operated vacuum pump, directly to servo diaphragm. Start engine, run at 2000 RPM, then release throttle. The engine speed should be within 1000-1200 RPM.
