Main Relay

  1. Turn ignition on. Check voltage between each main relay terminal and ground. See MAIN RELAY SPECIFICATIONS  table. If readings are incorrect, remove relay and measure resistance between terminals "A" and "B". Resistance should be about 70 ohms.
  2. Apply battery power to terminal "A" and ground terminal "B". Using ohmmeter, check continuity between terminals "C" and "D". If resistance is not close to 70 ohms, replace main relay.
