Throttle Position Sensor

  1. Remove rubber boot from connector. Turn ignition on and check voltage between each terminal and ground. Open throttle valve and check voltage between each terminal and ground once more.
  2. If reading is incorrect at terminal "D" only, check throttle sensor setting. If reading is incorrect at any other terminal, check resistance of throttle sensor, terminals "2A", "2C","2E", and "1G" of ECU and wiring harness.

A .4-.6 Volts About 4.5 Volts
B Below 1.5 Volts Below 1.5 Volts
C 4.5-5.5 Volts 4.5-5.5 Volts
D Below 1.5 Volts About 12 Volts
