Removal & Installation: Removal
- Drain engine coolant. Align No. 1 cylinder at Top Dead Center (TDC). Remove distributor and cables. Remove air funnel and air hose. Remove secondary air pipe and nipple heat shield.
- Remove upper and lower insulator covers. Remove oil pipe from turbocharger. Remove EGR pipe, water hoses, and oxygen sensor. Remove front pipe from front of catalytic converter.
- Loosen bolts securing turbocharger to bracket. Remove exhaust manifold, turbocharger, and front catalytic converter as an assembly. Remove bracket. Disassembly exhaust manifold, turbocharger, and front catalytic converter.
