Deceleration Spark Advance: B2600

  1. Bring engine to normal operating temperature. Connect tachometer and timing light. Observe timing marks. Increase engine speed gradually and check that ignition timing suddenly advances at 1300-1450 RPM.
  2. Connect voltmeter to Green wire (terminal "f") of distributor vacuum solenoid valve connector. See Fig 1 .

  3. Observe voltmeter. Slowly increase engine to above 1300 RPM. Voltmeter should read zero volts. Allow engine to slow to below 1300 RPM. Voltmeter should read 12 volts.
