Throttle Sensor

  1. Disconnect throttle sensor connector. Connect an ohmmeter between throttle sensor terminals A and D. Resistance should be 3500 6500 ohms. See Figure .
  2. Connect ohmmeter between throttle sensor terminals B and D. Gradually open throttle valve and note resistance. With throttle valve closed, resistance should be less than 1000 ohms. With throttle valve fully open, resistance should be 3500-6500 ohms. If not within specifications, check adjustment.
