Shift Lock Control Unit: Protege5
Remove the shift lock control unit. See SHIFT LOCK CONTROL UNIT under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Connect harness connector. Turn ignition on. Measure voltage at each shift lock control unit terminal. See Fig 1 . If voltage is not as specified, inspect components listed under ACTION column. If no problems are found with any components or wiring harnesses, replace the shift lock control unit.
