CHECK COMMUNICATION WITH THE MODULE IN QUESTION
- Key OFF.
- Connect WDS or equivalent tester.
- Key ON.
- Run a continuous self-test with the module in question.
- Are you able to communicate with the module in question?

UPLOAD CONFIGURATION INFORMATION FROM OLD MODULE
- Key OFF, Install the old module
- Were you able to upload the old information from the old module?

Yes |
Go to step 3. |

Obtain as-built data for vehicle as necessary. Go to step 3. |

DOWNLOAD CONFIGURATION INFORMATION INTO THE NEW MODULE
- Key OFF.
- Install the new module.
NOTE:
- The WDS or equivalent tester will not retain the stored configuration information for longer than 24 hours.
- Download the stored information, or enter the as built data into the new module using the WDS or equivalent tester.
- Were you able to download the stored information into the new module?
