Spark Plug Removal/Installation

CAUTION:

If a spark plug that is not as specified is installed, engine performance will be deteriorated. Install only the specified spark plug when replacing.

Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (Refer to NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
Remove the plug hole plate. (Refer to PLUG HOLE PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Remove the ignition coils/ion sensors. (Refer to IGNITION COIL/ION SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Remove the spark plugs using a plug-wrench.
Install in the reverse order of removal.
Tightening torque
- 15-20 N.m {1.6-2.0 kgf.m, 12-14 ft.lbf}
