Function Inspection: Notes

  1. Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.
  2. Switch the ignition ON (engine off).
  3. Display the PID ECT and ECT2_V. (See ON-BOARD DIAGNOSTIC TEST .) (See PCM INSPECTION .)
  4. Compare the voltage indications for PID ECT2_V and the temperature indications for PID ECT with the standards in the table indicated below.
