PID/DATA Monitor Inspection

  1. Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.
  2. Switch the ignition ON (engine off).
  3. Display PIDs ENG_CL_V_POS and ENG_CL_V_POS_R using the M-MDS.(See On-board Diagnostic Test .) --> (See PCM Inspection .)
  4. When the engine is started after switching the ignition ON (engine off), verify that the PID ENG_CL_V_POS_R value conforms to the PID ENG_CL_V_POS value.
