Function inspection

  1. Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.
  2. Switch the ignition ON (engine off).
  3. Display the PCM PID [BOOST_AIR_TEMP] and [BOOST_AIR_TEMP_VOLT]. (See PID/DATA MONITOR INSPECTION .) (See PID/DATA MONITOR TABLE (VIN Y) .)
  4. Compare the voltage and temperature indications for the PIDs [BOOST_AIR_TEMP_VOLT] and [BOOST_AIR_TEMP] with the standard in the table indicated below.
