Fuel Siphoning Procedure Not Using Fuel Pump

  1. Complete the "BEFORE SERVICE PRECAUTION". (See BEFORE SERVICE PRECAUTION .)
  2. Remove the fuel pump unit. (See FUEL PUMP UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Remove the fuel gauge sender unit (sub). (AWD) (See FUEL GAUGE SENDER UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [AWD] .)
  4. Drain the fuel in the tank from the unit installation hole.
