The EGR valve is operational under the following conditions:

• Coolant temperature must be between 68°F (20°C)-239°F (115°C)
• Engine speed 800-300 RPM.
• Fuel rack travel of less than .354" (9 mm).
• Battery voltage of + 8 volts.
